Jack Is a five year old Yorkshire Terrier and would make an ideal family pet. He is used to being the only pet in the house but does get on well with cats. He loves his walks, is very friendly and would make an ideal companion. Jack needs an enclosed garden to stop him from straying. He is neutered and has had flea and worm treatment. It has been two years since he was last vaccinated but this will be done before he is rehomed. If you can give Jack the forever home that he will love please contact us on 087 050 5594 or by e-mail.

Do you remember Jack? We’ve been looking after him since he was a pup. Click here for a reminder. Well, he’s growing up and although he’s getting on great in his foster home, we would love to see him settled in a permanent home.

Lucy is a lab/collie cross who was found straying in Ballaghadereen and taken to the Pound. She is about two years old and a lovely girl although a little overweight. She has previously been spayed and has been given her first vaccinations. Lucy is in a foster home until we can rehome her or find her owner. If you could home Lucy please contact us on 087 0505594.

Buddy had been in kennels since his arrival with us just before Christmas so when an opportunity for a foster home came available we knew Buddy should have it until he is found a new home. He has settled well with his foster home who report:
He’s a really lovely dog and gets on great with the collie here. He’s nice and quiet in the house (asides from a bit of barking) and he’s quite good on the lead. I let him off the lead and he trots along beside my bike and races round like a racehorse in the fields! He could do with a bit of training as he has a habit of putting his big paws up on everything – he’s very well behaved and has settled into the house very well. He’s snoozing on my feet as I type!
To celebrate his first birthday here are some new pictures of Buddy. We feel sure he would make a wonderful addition to a family. If you would like to consider Buddy as part of your family please contact us on 087 0505594.

Oonagh was found with her kittens Orla, Oscar and Oisin had made camp near the house of one of our volunteers who cared for them in their first days. Having a houseful of cats herself we arranged for another foster home to care for them whilst we look for a new home. Oonagh is a long haired black cat and we believe this is her first litter, she is a doting mum. Her three kittens are all short haired, mainly black with the odd small white patch, all are healthy and playful and ready to find new adventures. If you can give Oonagh and/or any of her kittens a new home please contact us on 087 0505594

Having received a call about a young cat who had given birth to kittens a couple of days earlier we found Moon hidden with her kitten Shadow under a hedge in a field. No other kittens were to be found and we can only speculate about their fate. We would love to rehome them together as they have remained very close. Moon has also proved herself to be an extraordinarily caring mother and whilst in her foster home she adopted three kittens who had been abandoned when only a few days old. Those kittens will also need rehoming in a few weeks time. Moon is very affectionate and her daughter Shadow who is now about 10 weeks old is just looking for mischief. If you can offer them a caring home please contact us on 087 0505594

Jack and Ellie have become good friends since sharing a foster home together, but now need to find permanent home(s).
Jack is approximately 3 months old, he is a whippet/lurcher cross who was found in a dreadful state, starved and badly dehydrated and had to be rushed to Innishfree Hospital as he was not expected to survive. but he did and as you can see he is lovely…he is very friendly and good with cats.
He has been vaccinated, wormed and defleaed and is almost house-trained.
Ellie is a young spaniel/setter cross who was rescued from the pound having been found wandering around Roscommon, she has been in foster care since and is responding well. She has been vaccinated, wormed and defleaed and undergoing house-training. Ellie is a very good listener who should be easily trained. She plays well with Jack – they are both bundles of fun.
If you can offer Jack and/or Ellie the home they deserve please contact us on 087 0505594

Meet Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme:
These four kittens were found abandoned over the May bank holiday. They are about 5-6 weeks old and were just left to fend for themselves, they are too young to do so. At such a tender age it is so important they are cared for and our thanks are extended to the person who had time to care and let us know about them. We have named them Parsley, Sage Rosemary and Thyme, they are being cared for in one of our foster homes for now but will need to find homes of their own in a few weeks. If you can provide the caring environment they need please contact us on 087 0505594
