Buddy is approximately six months old, he has now been neutered and vaccinated and wants a good home to care for him. Buddy turned up at a lady’s door one Sunday evening and whilst he had chosen an excellent home to visit, she already had her hands full with dogs of her own amongst many other pets.
Buddy is a very friendly young dog and has fitted in well at the kennels. Like all young dogs he would benefit from some training and we believe he will grow quite large so needs an experienced carer. Buddy can be a bit on the energetic side, so you’ll need to have lots of energy with him around! All he really needs is to get out and about to stretch his long legs. Can he become your best Buddy? If you would like to meet him please contact us on 087 0505594.
Benji is a male black Labrador cross about a year old. He had been wandering around a housing estate for some time before being reported to us. Benji has been neutered and has had his first vaccination. He is a sociable dog with both people and other dogs, he walks well on a lead and has had basic training. If you can give Benji a good home please contact us on 087 0505594.
Jack and Ellie have become good friends since sharing a foster home together, but now need to find permanent home(s).
Jack is approximately 3 months old, he is a whippet/lurcher cross who was found in a dreadful state, starved and badly dehydrated and had to be rushed to Innishfree Hospital as he was not expected to survive. but he did and as you can see he is lovely…he is very friendly and good with cats. He has been vaccinated, wormed and defleaed and is almost house-trained.
Ellie is a young spaniel/setter cross who was rescued from the pound having been found wandering around Roscommon, she has been in foster care since and is responding well. She has been vaccinated, wormed and defleaed and undergoing house-training. Ellie is a very good listener who should be easily trained. She plays well with Jack – they are both bundles of fun.
If you can offer Jack and/or Ellie the home they deserve please contact us on 087 0505594
Update: This is Jack now -
Having received a call about a young cat who had given birth to kittens a couple of days earlier we found Moon hidden with her kitten Shadow under a hedge in a field. No other kittens were to be found and we can only speculate about their fate. We would love to rehome them together as they have remained very close. Moon has also proved herself to be an extraordinarily caring mother and whilst in her foster home she adopted three kittens who had been abandoned when only a few days old. Those kittens will also need rehoming in a few weeks time. Moon is very affectionate and her daughter Shadow who is now about 10 weeks old is just looking for mischief. If you can offer them a caring home please contact us on 087 0505594
Oonagh was found with her kittens Orla, Oscar and Oisin had made camp near the house of one of our volunteers who cared for them in their first days. Having a houseful of cats herself we arranged for another foster home to care for them whilst we look for a new home. Oonagh is a long haired black cat and we believe this is her first litter, she is a doting mum. Her three kittens are all short haired, mainly black with the odd small white patch, all are healthy and playful and ready to find new adventures. If you can give Oonagh and/or any of her kittens a new home please contact us on 087 0505594
Freya is a young mother who had three kittens two of whom have been re-homed leaving her & Finn, who is now about 10 weeks old, to find a new start in life. Freya is particularly gentle and affectionate and Finn just loves to explore like all kittens of his age. They would make be a delight for any family. If you feel you can give Freya and Finn the loves they deserve please contact us on 087 0505594.

Lucy is a Labrador cross who was found straying in Ballaghadereen and taken to the Pound. She is about two years old and a lovely girl although a little overweight. She has previously been spayed and has been given her first vaccinations. Lucy is in a foster home until we can rehome her or find her owner. If you could home Lucy please contact us on 087 0505594.
Jack Is a five year old Yorkshire Terrier and would make an ideal family pet. He is used to being the only pet in the house but does get on well with cats. He loves his walks, is very friendly and would make an ideal companion. Jack needs an enclosed garden to stop him from straying. He is neutered and has had flea and worm treatment. It has been two years since he was last vaccinated but this will be done before he is rehomed. If you can give Jack the forever home that he will love please contact us on 087 050 5594 or by e-mail.
